Playing with the limits from the original and the recycled through pictorial transgression leads me to assume my new critical canon in the midst of polemic comments of the scalpel and botox. We are reflections of the media, in the century of the flash, the selfie and the so-called «trends».

This series aims to discourse on the stereotypical vision of the advertising media by annulling and crossing out that predetermined image. The works are constructed from modifications, paintings on paintings. It is not only the phantasmagoric addition of new elements on a pre-existing portrait, but the use of this as a source of suggestion and exciting provocateur of an action. It can be said that many times we are manipulated by the image, perhaps willingly or simply because it is so subtle and imperceptible that we do not realize it.
